| Trait | Description |
| Saisei | Translates as "regeneration". This is a Namek's ability to grow back a part of the body that's been disabled or damaged. A Namek can only regenerate if their head is intact and lost limbs shoot out of the stump fully intact. The amount of time required for regeneration is proportional to the amount of damage acquired. |
| Terepashi | Translates as "Telepathy". The ability to communicate others by speaking to them through their mind or heart, the ability to sense past events, and the ability to channel one character's thoughts to other characters. Usage of this ability requires physical contact with the subject. |
| Toomi no Jyutsu | The psychic ability to sense what's going on in a different part of the world or universe. In order to do this, the user normally closes their eyes and must only concentrate on using this ability. |
| Nobiru Ude | Translates as "Extending Arm". This is a Namek's ability to extend his arms to almost any length. |
| Yuugou | Translates as "Fusion". This type of fusion lasts forever and it is performed by Nameks. One Namek can fuse with another Namek, giving the other his power and knowledge. The Namek who will be the base of the combined character, (in other words, the character who will look the same after the process), places their hand on the other Namek's chest. The other Namek then joins with the base character. The resulting character will be no different from before, besides the fact that they will be more powerful, and have all of the other Namek's knowledge and memories. |
