The !! Pass

This limited time (while quantities last) item allows you to hitch a ride aboard a fictional "Burg"-type spaceship. Each pass is good for up to 3 individuals.

The travel time mechanics are as follows:

  1. A randomly decided percentage of the passengers will have Level 1 of Computer skill. This percentage will be between 50% and 75%.
  2. The remaining passengers are considered the "main crew". These constitute the 100 maximum passengers, minus the random percentage of "common folk", minus the PCs (between 1 and 3).
  3. The "main crew" are assumed to have a total of 2 skill Levels between Computer and Piloting.
  4. The Levels of Computer and/or Piloting possessed by the PC(s) are included in the travel time calculation.

As an example, Jack the Pirate purchases a !! Pass and decides to travel to Earth from Giermundi. He takes along his two friends, Will and Lizabeth. All three of them have 0 levels of Piloting or Computer.

Upon using the card, it is randomly determined that 62% of the other passengers have Level 1 skills applicable to this voyage. Therefore, the total travel time is:

Base Travel Time is 25 days from Giermundi to Earth g BTT = 25
3 PCs with 0 skill g PC = 3, PCS = 0
62% of non-"main crew" = ( 100 - PC ) * .62 = 60 g NMC = 60
"main crew" = 100 - PC - NMC = 37 g MC = 37
