1) Sesshomaru vs. Vash vs. Kyo vs. Roronoa vs. Conker vs. Lupin: Mass Spar
"I'll be a Fighter." Roronoa says, "I want to use swords."
"I call Rogue!" Lupin shouts, reaching for the Player's Handbook.
Vash, munching on a donut, looks arond the table. "What about Iron Kingdoms classes? Can I be a Gunmage?"
Kyo snorts derisively, "As if you'd actually KILL anything, 'Mr. Typhoon.' And I want to be a fighter."
"I called it first!" Roronoa says. The two begin arguing while Lupin rolls dice and fills out his character sheet. Sesshomaru ignores everyone else as he flips through the Arms and Equipment Guide.
"I'll be a Mage, so I can blow shit up!" This from the squirrel with the Mountain Dew across from Vash. Vash starts filling out his sheet as well. Roronoa and Kyo have now draw their swords and are duellign eahc other for the privilege of being a fighter. Sesshomaru pulls his charater sheet out and places it on the table, already filled out.
"Druid." He states flatly.
Kyo falls to the floor, defeated, apparently he forgot that he didnt have a sword. Roronoa shouts his victory and sits back at the table.
"I'm the Fighter!"
"Uuungh..." Kyo says.
"So.. umm.. wait a second... Who's the DM?" Vash asks, looking at all the character sheets everyone is filling out. At this everyone stops and looks up.
"Not I." Vash says quickly.
"Not Me!" Roronoa says at the same time.
Sesshomaru answers quietly and evenly. "No."
"Hell no! I wanna blow shit up!" Duh.
"Nnnnrgh.."
"Me either!" Lupin gets in, last.
Everyone looks at everyone else, except Kyo, who is having trouble standing up. Sesshomaru sighs deeply. "Fine, we'll roll a die. We each take a number from left to right, I'll be one. Whatever number comes up on the die gets to be DM."
"Are we counting Kyo in this?" Vash asks, watchign the aformentioned Samurai fall back to the floor.
"Yes, he'll be number three. That makes Vash number two, Roronoa four, Conker Five, and lastly, Lupin is six." Sesshomaru reaches over and grabs a d6 from one fo the players sets. "I'll roll one of Kyo's dice, so nobody can cry about me cheating with my own." He looks pointedly at Conker. After rollign the die around in his hand, a quick flick of the wrist sends the die bouncing on the table. The die takes only a second to stop, if that. No prolonged slow-mo scene of it bouncing and rolling around everywhere. It comes up with a four. "Roronoa it is."
"I'm still playing a fighter!" Roronoa says as he reaches for the DM's Guide and Monster Manual.
"Fine, just remember, the DM's character follows the same rules as the rest of us, and no fair making him be the hero of it all." Vash says.
-=Some time later=-
"Does a 15 hit you?" Roronoa asks Conker.
"No! I have mage armor and a ring of protecion +2." Says the squirrel.
"Ok then, Vash, your move."
"Im going to duck back into the hallway and take a healing potion out of my backpack. And thanks to the Haste spell, I can take the potion this turn too."
"Are you sure about that?" Sesshomaru asks.
Lupin buts in this time, "It doesnt matter, I say he should be able to."
"Fine."
Vash rolls the dice and increases his hitpoints. "Okay, done."
"Conker, your move." Roronoa says after checking his initiative list.
"Allright, I'm going to cast magic missle from that wand we found. I want to hit Lupin and Kyo."
"You can't hit Kyo, his character never left town." Vash says, looking at the floor where Kyo still lies.
"Oh, ok.. then I'll hit the Fighter and Lupin, two missles each."
"Dammit.. I knew I shouldnt have let you find a wand that powerful already." Roronoa says. "How much damage?"
Conker rolls the dice after appointing each die to a specific person. "Look like.. 10 to Roronoa and only 6 to Lupin."
"ARRGH! Killed by the fraking MAGE!!!" Lupin says, tossing his pencil down in disgust.
Roronoa marks his damage. "Allright, I'm still in the game.. Sesshomaru, your turn."
"I'm going to summon a dire bear and have it attack Conker." Sesshomaru says. Dice get rolled, damage gets calculated, Conker dies.
"Damnit!" Conker says.
"And its back to me." Roronoa says. "Im going to Quick Draw my Bow and shoot Sesshomaru." More rolling, another miss. "Damn druids. Vash, you again."
"Hmm.. choices choices. I'll shoot Sesshomaru." Roll, hit, damage dealt. "What's that put you at?" Vash asks.
"Dammit... negative two, I'm unconscious."
"That counts as a defeat, unless you took the right feat." Roronoa says. "So, my turn, I shoot at Vash." Roll, miss. "Crap, I don't have many hitpoints left. All you gotta do is hit me, Vash."
"Ok. My character steps out with his gun lowered. He looks over at you, then around at all the dead and dying characters. How about we call this a draw and split the reward?" Vash looks questioningly at Roronoa.
"My character puts his hand against the wound left by an earlier attack. Looks at you, and drops his bow. Sure, we can call it a draw."
"Yay! Love and Peace! Love and Peace!" Vash does that silly peace-sign with his fingers.
"But if you do that again, I'll remove your hand." Roronoa says.
Everyone laughs. Vash helps Kyo up as Conker starts cleaning the table. Sesshomaru walks into the living room and turns the TV on. Roronoa and Lupin leave to go get drunk. Another great weekend game of Dungeons and Dragons!
